Betty serves as the Program Director at Kids are First Kansas where she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team.  As a Licensed Master Social Worker she has a deep understanding of family systems and  utilizes trauma-informed practices to help youth overcome challenges and make meaningful changes in their lives.  Betty is dedicated to supporting children and foster families through compassionate care and guidance.

Betty is also a bilingual professional and is able to provide services in both Spanish and English allowing Kids R First Kansas a unique opportunity to work more effectively with diverse families in our community.  At Kids R First Kansas, Betty is dedicated to providing specialized therapeutic interventions for those navigating the complexities of the foster care system.

Outside of her professional life, Betty's heart belongs to her own family.  They are the absolute best part of her life and she cherishes every moment spent making memories together.
